President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated workers and veterans of the energy industry on the Energy Day.
“The domestic energy complex is one of the most important components of the industrial and innovative development of the national economy,” the Head of State noted. “Thanks to your high skills, knowledge and rich experience, the industry is confidently moving forward: large high-tech projects are being successfully implemented, new facilities are being commissioned, the electric grid infrastructure is being modernized, advanced technologies are being mastered.”
“The Belarusian nuclear power plant occupies a key place in the country’s energy system today, and the commissioning of its second power unit is the main event of the year in the domestic energy sector and further strengthens the position of our state as a nuclear power,” Alexander Lukashenko stressed.
The President expressed his conviction that the intellectual potential, as well as the traditions laid down by veterans, will allow us to effectively solve the tasks set for the industry in the future.
Alexander Lukashenko wished everyone good health, happiness and new work achievements.
