I congratulate you on the Day of the Rescuer of the Russian Federation!
Today, the professional holiday is celebrated by over 300 thousand personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
This year, four new divisions joined the ranks of the department in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. Our fighters are helping to rebuild the infrastructure and clear the territories. Their service is fraught with special risk – they work under fire.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia annually rescues more than 200 thousand people, eliminates up to 400 thousand fires and the consequences of about 260 emergencies. At the same time, through joint efforts in the country, it was possible to reduce the number of victims in emergency situations by 26%. All this is due to the efficiency and coherence of the actions of the units.
You have to perform your professional duty in the most difficult conditions, at the limit of your capabilities and always at the risk of your life. Difficulties unite our team and harden our character.
It is impossible to leave in trouble and not lend a helping hand to those who need it. Nationalities, religions and distances are not important for rescuers. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has been building its work on these principles for 33 years. Veterans of the service laid the foundation for a noble cause. Their experience is a science for followers.
The memory of our fallen colleagues lives in our hearts. The department honors traditions and is famous for its heroes who are the first to come to the rescue.
