On the initiative of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Belarus, a photo and video exhibition was shown at the headquarters of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Minsk on January 19 as part of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the diplomatic service of Kyrgyzstan.

The photographic documents depict the history of the formation of Kyrgyz diplomacy from 1944 to the present day. Kyrgyzstan’s active participation in the development of the Commonwealth of Independent States was noted.
Within the framework of its chairmanship in the CIS in 2023, the Kyrgyz Republic purposefully and consistently contributed to the development and improvement of the effectiveness of the Commonwealth’s activities, provided practical assistance to deepen integration processes, and actively involve member states in the process of making and implementing relevant decisions.
The photo and video exposition aroused great interest and positive responses among the staff of the CIS Executive Committee and its guests.
