On the eve of the Day of the Diplomatic Worker in Cotonou, a briefing was held by the Russian Ambassador to Benin and Togo (concurrently) I.D.Evdokimov for journalists of the largest media in Benin – the newspapers Le Grand Quotidien and the online publication 24 Heures au Bénin, as well as the central television of the Republic.
During the event, I.D. Evdokimov answered questions regarding Moscow’s position on key issues on the global, regional and bilateral agenda. At the same time, journalists were particularly interested in the special military operation conducted by Russia in Ukraine and the results of the second Russia-Africa summit, which was held in St. Petersburg in July 2023.
