Question: There have been reports in the media that the Russian Interior Ministry has put on the wanted list Estonian Prime Minister K. Kallas, as well as other Baltic politicians. How could you comment on this?
Answer: Indeed, the Russian Foreign Ministry receives journalists’ questions on the designated topic. In this regard, we consider it necessary to note the following.
K. Kallas is known as an extremely hostile statesman towards Russia, its culture and history. She actively pursues a policy of demolishing monuments and mocking the memory of Soviet soldiers who liberated Europe from fascist enslavement during World War II.
Such blasphemy must be held accountable. That is why Ms. Callas was included in the list of those who are barred from entering the territory of the Russian Federation. As for the Russian law enforcement agencies, they, within the framework of their powers and duties in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, must investigate the facts of vandalism and identify persons personally responsible for such criminal acts.
