On February 15, member of the Board of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rector of the Diplomatic Academy A.V.Yakovenko received Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Moscow Alejandro Arias Zarzuela at his request. The discussion focused on the development of cooperation between the diplomatic academies of the Russian Federation and the Dominican Republic.
The Rector of the Academy presented to the Ambassador the Concept of the Foreign Policy of the Russian Federation, approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 31, 2023, as well as the report of the Diplomatic Academy on global trends, published in January 2024.
A.V.Yakovenko familiarized A.A.Zarzuela in detail with the system of training international specialists at the Academy and advanced training of Russian and foreign diplomats, scientific and publishing activities of the higher educational institution, and also extended invitations to the Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Dominican Republic to visit Moscow to establish practical cooperation.
