On February 22, in Rio de Janeiro, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Group of Twenty countries, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey H.Fidan.
The topics on the bilateral agenda, including trade and economic cooperation, and the implementation of projects in the energy sector, were discussed.
The ministers also “checked the clock” on a number of relevant regional and international topics with an emphasis on the situation in the Middle East, Transcaucasia and around Ukraine. The issues of interaction on international platforms are considered.
The schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts was discussed.
