In the summer of 2024, Tashkent’s public transport will be managed by a single intelligent system, the correspondent reports Podrobno.uz .
This is stated in the presidential decree of March 25.
The system is being introduced to account for passenger traffic on regular bus routes in Tashkent, control the work of drivers and cash receipts, monitor the technical condition of buses and fix traffic violations on dedicated lanes.
By June 1, 2024, a system of incentive tariffs will also be created in the capital when using electronic payment systems for public transport.
In addition, special funds will be transferred to the system of territorial administrations of the Ministry of Economy and Finance for settlements with carriers and accumulation of receipts from fare payments.
Recall that thanks to the introduction of differentiated fares for public transport when paying with ATTO cards, Tashkent residents have saved millions of soums on transport transfers.
