The number of SMEs established in Dubai in 2023 increased by 550 percent compared to 2022. These are mainly companies engaged in trade, logistics and information technology. This is reported by Arab News .
The Emirati authorities said that 104 small and medium-sized businesses have opened in Dubai in 12 months.
The largest number of new companies appeared in the fields of trade and logistics (17 percent), followed by OTS (13 percent), as well as food producers and agricultural companies (10 percent).
Experts attribute this trend to the fact that the Emirates has a favorable business climate, including due to legislation. The publication notes that the total number of offices of the Dubai International Chamber of Commerce worldwide increased in 2023. Currently, there are 31 representative offices.
