Large families of the Moscow region automatically receive an electronic certificate instead of a paper one.
“In the region, large families have received about 150 thousand electronic certificates. This is a convenient analogue of the paper version. It can be stored in your phone and it is always at hand,” said Lyudmila Bolataeva, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region.
Since the beginning of the year, parents with many children in the region have issued about 3 thousand electronic certificates, while there are less than a thousand on paper. The certificate allows you to confirm the preferential status for providing discounts in the store, free access to museums, parks and exhibitions.
The Ministry of Social Development of the Moscow region recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin declared 2024 the Year of the Family in the country and signed a decree that at the federal level fixes the status of large families and defines support measures for them.
The first deputy chairman added that about 110 thousand large families in the Moscow region use support measures, for the implementation of which the budget provides about 45 billion rubles.
The Ministry of Social Development of the Moscow region recalled that large families in the region can receive free travel, compensation for utilities, land or payment for the purchase of land, payment for school uniforms and free meals at school.
