The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the product lists for the technical regulations of the Customs Union: “On the safety of high-speed rail transport”, “On the safety of high-speed rail transport”, “On the safety of railway transport infrastructure”, the press service of the EEC reports.
“The lists have been approved for the first time. They include all products that are subject to technical regulations in the field of railway transport,” the message says.
The lists are intended for customs authorities to monitor compliance with technical regulation measures when importing products into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The adoption of product lists will contribute to the implementation of the requirements of the technical regulations of the Union in the field of railway transport, the press service of the EEC added.
In addition, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved a list of products to the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union “On the safety of Metro rolling stock”, in respect of which, when placed under customs procedures, compliance with technical regulation measures is confirmed.
The list is also approved for the first time and includes all products covered by the technical regulations.
“The document is intended for customs authorities to monitor compliance with technical regulation measures when importing products into the customs territory of the Union,” the message says.
The adoption of the list of products will serve to implement the requirements of the EEU technical regulations for metro rolling stock, which will enter into force on January 2, 2025.
