On June 14, the Russian House in Trivandrum, together with the Honorary Consulate of Russia, held a trade conference on business opportunities in Russia.
It was attended by representatives of the largest bank of Russia — Sberbank, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kerala Exporters Association, the Association of Exporters of Marine Products, Kerala Travel Mart and the Association of Hoteliers.
The event was also attended by manufacturers from both the private and public sectors, as well as tour operators, who presented a wide range of industries interested in trading opportunities in Russia.
Among the speakers at the conference were: President of the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry S. Raghuchandran Nair, General Manager of the State Bank of Travancore, retired S.Adikesavan, former President of Kerala Travel Mart Baby Matthew, Honorary Consul of Russia and Director of the Russian House in Trivandrum Ratish S.Nair and many others.
