The first “Forum of Families” It became an important event in the region within the framework of the Year of the Family. The task of the platform is to unite the government, public organizations, business and active large and substitute families to discuss social issues.

At the plenary session, representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Krasnodar Territory, the city administration, the Legislative Assembly and the Sochi Diocese discussed support measures that have a significant impact on the lives of families. The experts exchanged views and offered ideas for improving existing initiatives.
The forum was actively attended by large families, the families of the participants of the SVO, as well as substitute families and those who raise children with disabilities. When registering for the forum, each family answered the question about the most relevant support measures for them.
The round table discussed the best ways to implement the received initiatives. A presentation of the Port – Family family MFC, which is planned to open in Sochi, was held for the participants. The one-stop shop center will provide assistance to families who find themselves in difficult life situations, as well as to the families of the participants of the SVO.
Creative workshops and useful trainings were organized for children and parents. One of these sites was the Pushkin Library, where psychologists and doctors conducted consultations for parents.
