January 24, 2025 A meeting of the International Discussion Club “VISION 3000” was held with the support of the Moscow Government (Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the City of Moscow, GBU “Moscow House of Nationalities”) at the Moscow House of Nationalities.
The agenda of the meeting was devoted to the topic: “Protection of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, culture, historical memory and the traditional family.”
The meeting was moderated by Alfiya Amirova, President of the International Women’s Union, President of the VISION 3000 International Discussion Club.

Alfiya Amirova noted:
“The protection of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, culture, historical memory and the traditional family is carried out through state policy, which is implemented in the fields of education and upbringing, youth work, culture, science, interethnic and interreligious relations, the media, international cooperation and is aimed at strengthening the unity of the peoples of the Russian Federation, preserving the primordial universal principles and socially significant guidelines for social development”.
The meeting of the International Discussion Club “VISION 3000” discussed such issues as strengthening civic unity, preserving historical memory, preserving, strengthening and promoting traditional family values, implementing state information policy, fostering respect for traditional values, supporting public projects, supporting religious organizations, protecting and supporting the Russian language, etc.

The meeting was attended by the Heads and representatives of 8 Permanent Missions under the President of the Russian Federation. (Republic of Crimea, Republic of Mari El, Kaluga Region, Udmurt Republic, Republic of Mordovia, Kaliningrad Region, Republic of Tatarstan, Sevastopol)., experts, public figures.
The goals of the state policy on the preservation and strengthening of traditional values (Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated 11/09/2022 No. 809) are to preserve and strengthen traditional values, ensure their transmission from generation to generation, resist the spread of destructive ideology, and form the image of the Russian Federation in the international arena as a guardian and defender of traditional universal spiritual and moral values.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared 2025 the Year of Defender of the Fatherland. This decision is of particular importance on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The main task for 2025 is to focus on the patriotic education of citizens, children, and especially youth, to attract their interest in studying the history of Russia and thereby preserve the historical memory of the heroic deeds of the defenders of the Fatherland.
