The UAE has announced a large-scale high-speed train project that will take you from Abu Dhabi to Dubai in 30 minutes. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of the TV BRICS network.
It is noted that the speed of the train will reach 350 km/h. The train will pass through strategically important points and tourist attractions.
The first four stations will be located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah. They will be integrated with other modes of transport, including subways and buses, creating a unified network.
The news agency emphasizes that this initiative will contribute to improving the quality of life of citizens, residents and tourists, as well as contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
The project is expected to bring 145 billion dirhams (3.8 trillion rubles) to the UAE economy over the next 50 years.
