On February 6, Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, met with Alexander Besprozvannykh, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region.
During the conversation, international aspects of the life support of this subject of the Federation were discussed against the background of attempts to isolate it from Westerners. Sergey Lavrov stressed the readiness of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Ministry’s Representative Office in Kaliningrad to continue to provide all possible assistance in ensuring normal conditions for the further socio-economic development of the region and the reorientation of its external relations to friendly states.
