On February 25, students of the Astana Diplomatic School visited the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Kazakhstan, where they received a presentation of its activities, key projects and events aimed at developing cooperation in the fields of culture and education.
Yuri Melnik, Minister Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan, delivered a lecture to the participants of the meeting. He spoke about the state and prospects of Russian-Kazakh allied relations and integration ties, focusing on current examples of successful implementation of joint projects in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and assessed the current challenges on the international agenda. The students also learned about the intricacies of the diplomatic service and received practical advice for their future work.
During the lively discussion, the participants of the event actively asked questions about the development of bilateral relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, the prospects for international cooperation and the possibilities of building a diplomatic career in modern conditions.
