I cordially welcome the organizers, participants and guests of the XVII International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower”.
In recent years, the creative competition of the orchestras of the armies of different countries has become a “calling card”, a long-awaited event in the intense cultural life of Moscow. The participation of foreign participants in it contributes to the development of international humanitarian cooperation, maintaining an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding between peoples.
It is gratifying that the current review is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Military musicians also contributed to its achievement. They performed both at the front and in the rear, strengthened resilience, raised the morale of soldiers and officers.
I am convinced that this year’s festival will be held at a traditionally highly professional level, allowing Muscovites and numerous guests of the capital to get acquainted with the skills of military musical groups, and will give unforgettable emotions.
I wish you all vivid impressions and all the best.
