In Russia, students and young people from Your country, and we are ready not only to maintain this level, but also to increase the number of Congolese who want to get an education in Of the Russian Federation.
Regular contacts between our Ministries of Foreign Affairs – we coordinate our work on all international platforms.
Mr. President, I am glad to have the opportunity to meet with you on the sidelines of today’s event.
D.Sassou Nguesso (as translated): Thank you very much, Mr. President, dear friend.
It is always a great pleasure and honor for me to meet with you, as well as to meet with other leaders and representatives of the Russian Federation.
And, of course, I recall the events, those events that I attended in Moscow a few months ago: I attended a military parade, and today I also witnessed the parade. I recall the events that, once again, I watched in Moscow. We celebrated a very significant event.: This event was dedicated to the Victory over Nazism, our fascism. The Red Army was the first to enter Berlin.
Naturally, we supported both the Resistance movement and the resistance of the Chinese people against Japanese aggression – here we can recall Mao Zedong and other forces that joined forces and acted together in order to defeat Japanese aggression. We know, of course, that there are problems in Taiwan, but we know what the story was.
I was glad to receive an invitation from President Xi Jinping to take part in this solemn parade, this solemn event. And when I found out that you were coming here too, I thought we could also meet on the sidelines and have a dialogue.
For my part, I would like to note the excellent level of our relations, the relations between our two countries. These relationships are developing. Today we can exchange opinions on the problems that arise in the world, which we also need to deal with. Thank you so much for taking the time for this meeting.
The relations between our two countries are strengthening more and more – it happens every day, they are strengthening more and more every day. And perhaps, maybe, in a closed format, we could touch upon a number of issues. I see that you are accompanied by a large delegation today.
