On March 13, a delegation of the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the Chairman of the region, Rajabboy Ahmadzod, visited the Fergana region of the Republic of Uzbekistan and took part in the ceremony of the start of construction of the Andarkhon Trade and Logistics Center. Khokim of the Fergana region Khairullo Bozorov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rakhmonzoda, entrepreneurs and traders of the regions took part in the ceremony of the start of construction works.
During the speech, the heads of the regions expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of economic and friendly relations, assessed it as the fruit of the policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the respected Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The heads of the regions congratulated the Tajik and Uzbek peoples on the onset of the International Navruz and expressed confidence that the Andarkhon Trade and Logistics Center will contribute to the growth of the exchange of goods and products.
Recall that the Andarkhon Trade and Logistics Center will be built on an area of 5 hectares, it will house 200 retail stalls, a bank, a canteen, a cafe, a hotel and a logistics center. With the activation of the center, it will sell products produced at the enterprises of the two regions.
