On September 19, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov at the United Nations Residence in New York, USA, as part of the general debate of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan were discussed.
The sides, along with discussing bilateral ties, also exchanged views on the agenda of the general debate of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
