Kazakh Alisher Suleimenov sensationally defeated Magnus Carlsen, the best chess player in the world, in the second round of the Qatar Masters Open in Doha.
In the FIDE world ranking, Alisher Suleimenov is ranked 528th, and Carlson is the first. After the historic victory, the chess player shared his impressions of the game.
“How do I feel? I don’t have an answer. I still can’t believe that this happened, that this is reality. Before the game, I thought that a draw would be fantastic, even the coach told me about it,” admitted Alisher Suleimenov.
