On October 31, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the State of Israel in Moscow Alexander Ben Zvi.
During the conversation, the ongoing armed confrontation in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict was discussed. At the same time, the Russian side noted the importance of continuing relevant contacts in the interests of resolving urgent humanitarian issues as soon as possible, including the release of hostages, allowing the safe evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip, as well as ensuring the delivery of humanitarian supplies to the territory of the Palestinian enclave.
