On October 31, a traditional meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov with graduates of universities in 2023 who joined the Ministry took place in the Grand Mansion of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
During the event, the Minister made a welcoming speech and answered questions of interest to the new generation of employees of the Foreign Ministry. Various aspects of building relations between the Russian Federation and its partners in the international arena were discussed, both in the context of multilateral diplomacy and on bilateral tracks. The topic of preserving the traditions of domestic diplomacy and the connection of generations was touched upon. The Minister congratulated the young specialists on the beginning of a new stage in life, noted the high level of their training, the mood for active work, stressed the need for continuous professional development, spoke about the opportunities provided by the Ministry in this regard.
The meeting was attended by veterans of the diplomatic service, representatives of the Council of Young Diplomats and heads of universities subordinate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia – MGIMO and the Diplomatic Academy.
