On December 22, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the State of Israel in Moscow Alexander Ben Zvi on the occasion of the completion of his mission in the Russian Federation.
During the conversation, topical issues of further development of Russian-Israeli relations were discussed, with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining a regular political dialogue on international and Middle Eastern issues of mutual interest. At the same time, the exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East focused on the prospects for a settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
