Bangkok, December 22, 2023 – Kazakh Ambassador to Thailand Arman Isetov held a meeting with Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Voravut Pongprapapant. The parties discussed the current relations between the two countries and work plans for 2024.
The sides noted with satisfaction the development of bilateral relations. Thus, in the first 10 months of 2023, the trade indicator increased by 55% compared to the same period of the previous year. The positive results of the visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan were also noted, which contributed to the growth of tourists from Kazakhstan by 2 times.
A separate discussion block included questions on planned joint events in 2024. The parties supported the idea of the expediency of organizing mutual visits of officials of Kazakhstan and Thailand in the near future.
Ambassador A. Isetov and Director General V. Pongprapapant agreed on the importance of continuing the regular exchange of views on topical issues on the international agenda.
