Istanbul, December 25, 2023 – The Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul, together with the socio-political and information and educational magazine Sultan Magazine, organized an exhibition of paintings “Women of the Great Steppe” in Istanbul.
“The introduction of the Turkish public to the exhibition “”Women Of The Great Steppe “” presented paintings of representatives of the Kazakh people, including a special place in the study and culture, spiritual life and history of the country.” These are the faces of the great poet and writer Abay Kunanbayuly – Zere, as well as Domalak Ana, Aisha Bibi, Umai Ana, Hiuaz Dospanova, Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Tomiris, AK Kadyn, Kyz Zhibek, Diamond and kuishi Dina.
The event, held with the support of the administration of the Uskudar district, Istanbul, featured works of art by prize-winners of many international exhibitions, festivals and symposiums, famous artists in the country Zerde Bakytbek, Aitkul Tasmagambetov, Adilgali Bayandin, Kairat Zhayirbekuly, Manas Kozhakulov, Nurbek Zhardemov and Zhanuzak Musapir.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, a representative of the administration of the Uskudar district expressed gratitude to the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul and other organizers, noting that this event will make an important contribution to further strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two fraternal states.
