On April 15, 2024, in Tashkent, as part of the participation in the Second Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf”, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubayev held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities and prospects for enhancing bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain in political, trade, economic, investment, energy and other spheres.
The sides stressed the importance of exchanging visits at the highest and highest levels in the near future to strengthen the political dialogue between the two countries, conduct inter-ministerial consultations, as well as expand the legal framework between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain.
In addition, an exchange of views took place on topical issues of the international and regional situation.
The Head of the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic Zh.Kulubayev invited the Bahraini side to take an active high-level part in the Investment Forum of the Central Asian countries and the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf, scheduled in Issyk-Kul in July this year.
