In the Kamchatka Territory, the regional maternity capital was extended until 2030. Amendments to the law were made at the 34th session of the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka Territory.
“We extended the regional maternity capital until 2030, as it was done at the federal level. The support measure has proven itself well over the years and is gaining popularity every year. We will continue to support Kamchatka families with children, take care of them and help them. Perhaps this additional assistance will give confidence to families who are just thinking about the birth of a baby,” the governor of the Kamchatka Territory said. Vladimir Solodov.
As the head of the region stressed, every year in Kamchatka the number of families who took advantage of the support measure increases. So, in 2021, 865 families received regional maternity capital, in 2022 — 912 families, in 2023 — 1,102 families. The support measure for the first half of 2024 was used by 545 Kamchatka families.
“I have three children — Elisha, Victoria and Polina. We love spending time together, playing, reading, drawing. I received the regional maternity capital twice, which I used to improve housing conditions and partially repay the mortgage. It was a great help for us. I consider the measures to support families with children in our Kamchatka Territory to be sufficient. We take advantage of all the benefits we are entitled to. It is especially pleasant, in addition to the regional maternity capital, that my children can study in all circles absolutely free of charge, they can develop a versatile personality,” said Tatyana Sedova, a mother with many children.
You can use the funds of the regional maternity capital for the purchase, construction or repair of housing in the Kamchatka Territory, the education of a child, the purchase of a car and for other purposes.
The amount of the regional maternity capital in 2024 for the first child is 268 thousand rubles, for the second child — 249,907.42 rubles, for the third child — 175,249 rubles, for the fourth child — 263,608 rubles, for the fifth child — 350,495 rubles, for the sixth child — 438,854 rubles.
Let’s add that Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his message to the Federal Assembly, proposed extending the maternity capital program, family mortgages, maternity capital and mortgage repayment payments to large families until 2030.
