The process of implementing the agreements reached between the top leaders of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the field of industry, energy, geology, logistics and exports was discussed at the meeting of the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir and the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobir Islamov in Dushanbe.
NIAT “Khovar” reports with reference to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the country that the interlocutors also stressed the importance of implementing joint projects in accordance with the results of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, which took place on May 12 this year in Tashkent.
The parties also discussed the results of the working trip of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the industrial, energy and historical regions of the city of Penjikent and the Ainin district, which took place on May 22-23.
Following the meeting, the parties signed documents on cooperation to take concrete steps.
