The Russia Exhibition and Forum hosted special events dedicated to the celebration of 100 days before the Games of the Future.
A large-scale ceremony was held in the Cosmos pavilion at the Russia exhibition. The guests of the ceremony were welcomed by President Vladimir Putin.
“Dear friends, it is symbolic that 100 days before the start of the Games of the Future are celebrated at the site of the international exhibition-forum “Russia”, where the advanced achievements of our country are presented. We really have something to be proud of – in industry, science, culture, sports and, of course, in digital technologies, where Russia is actively strengthening its position. Evidence of this is the holding of the Games of the Future – a fundamentally new sports tournament based on the beauty of traditional sports and the most advanced innovative breakthroughs,” he said in his video message.
The President stressed that only 100 days separate us from the unique sports festival “Games of the Future”.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, the main mission of the competition at the junction of classical and esports is to develop a person who is harmonious in all respects.
“On behalf of the President of Russia, we will hold in Kazan the first multi-sports tournament in the history of mankind, the Games of the Future. I want to assure you that the organizers are carefully preparing for the competition. Despite the fact that there are 100 days left before the start, more than 10 test competitions have already been held. Very soon, participants from more than 100 countries will come to us, who will compete in 21 high-tech disciplines. I am sure that new records and heroes will be born during the competition,” Dmitry Chernyshenko stressed.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister, together with the volunteers of the Games of the Future, presented the main trophy of the Games, symbolizing the challenges: sports, speed, tactics, technology and strategy.
In the next two weeks, the trophy will ride on the legendary Ulyanovsk “loaf” in 7 cities of Russia, after which it will go to Baikonur. From there, he will fly to the ISS in a special capsule. The trophy will return from space in 2024, after which it will wait for the winner in Kazan at the Games of the Future from February 21 to March 3, 2024.
Cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko, Nikolai Chub and Konstantin Borisov greeted the guests of the ceremony from the International Space Station.

The event was held as part of the educational program of the Russian society “Knowledge” at the international exhibition-forum “Russia”.
“Games of the Future” is an international multi–sports tournament in the concept of “digital”, a sports show of a new format that will combine competitions in physical and digital dimensions. The first tournament “Games of the Future”, which will be held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3, 2024, will be attended by more than 260 experienced teams and more than 2,000 athletes from different countries in 21 innovative disciplines (16 in the main and 5 in the extended program). The competitions will be divided into 5 categories, or challenges: sports, tactics, strategy, technology and speed.
The official transport partner of the project was the Sollers Group, which provides cars of the UAZ and Sollers brands for the road show announcing the event, as well as for the movement of tournament participants during the Games of the Future themselves.
