Students from Argentina have created robots to monitor soil conditions, as well as a tractor driving simulator. Innovative projects have become part of the vocational training reform program launched by the country’s Ministry of Education. This is reported by Ahora San Juan, a partner of the TV BRICS network.

Young inventors have adapted sensors and software so that their robots can now measure soil temperature and humidity. The device is controlled from mobile phones via a special application. Robots are already being used on the territory of a peach tree plantation.

The students also developed an educational tractor driving simulator. Thanks to the game design with steering wheel, gear lever and pedals, students can practice as often as necessary. The simulator connects to any screen and provides a realistic simulation of agricultural work.

It is noted that such projects demonstrate the possibilities of education and innovation in the development of high-tech agriculture.
