The Russian Ambassador to Uzbekistan spoke about the goals and priorities of Russian higher education in Uzbekistan.
TASHKENT – Sputnik reports that Russian educational programs and branches of universities in Uzbekistan offer what will be in demand in the program of building a modern industry. This is the opinion in the program “Alter Ego” by Kirill Altman, Russian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov.
The next issue of the program was dedicated to the opportunities of Russian education in Uzbekistan.
According to Oleg Malginov, Russian education follows the goals set by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the “New Uzbekistan” program – it is to build a modern, dynamic society where industry, science, humanitarian and social spheres will develop.

“We have both the willingness and the opportunity, Uzbekistan has a need – it is a mutual interest. We offer the most up-to-date knowledge, the most up-to-date techniques in a very wide range of fields. This is not so much the humanities as industrial things, science. These are chemistry, nuclear physics, steel and alloys, exact sciences, medicine,” the diplomat said.

Russian education is a brand. Its distinctive feature is that graduates of branches of Russian universities are ready-made specialists with the most up-to-date knowledge and skills, the Ambassador noted.

“I was not so long ago at the graduation of the Institute of Steel and Alloys in Almalyk. There are specialists who are ready to work at the plants, they already know everything,” Oleg Malginov shared.

Uzbekistan is the leader in the number of branches of Russian universities. But the Russian Federation offers other, new forms of cooperation, the ambassador stressed.

“There are some new promising forms of interaction: a group of Russian universities unites and on the basis of, say, Samarkand University begins to teach courses for Uzbeks. That is, this is something that can be in demand and will be in demand in the program of building a modern industry,” he said.
