The VII Arctic International Film Festival “Golden Crow” has opened the acceptance of applications, the press service of the review reported.

You can apply for participation in the competitive programs of the show until February 28. The Golden Crow will be held in the city of Anadyr of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug from April 24 to May 7, 2023.

The opening and closing ceremonies will traditionally take place at the Polar Cinema. The winner of the Grand Prix, as in previous times, will be chosen by the audience, who can see not only the candidates for awards, but also an extensive non-competitive program during free screenings.

Traditionally, its program includes the best Russian and foreign, game and non-game, full-length and short films shot in or about the Arctic. So, in 2022, the documentary film “Torn Off” by Vladimir Krivov about the life of the Chukchi became the triumphant of the festival, and the best documentary short film was the story about life on the shore of the Chukchi Sea “Exit” by Maxim and Evgenia Arbugaev, which was included in the shortlist of contenders for the Oscar award.
