On May 25 this year, a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held in Minsk under the chairmanship of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin. The meeting will be attended by the Secretary General of the CSTO Imangali Tasmagambetov and the Chief of the Joint Staff of the CSTO, Colonel-General Anatoly Sidorov.
The meeting participants will discuss challenges and threats to military security in the regions of collective security of the CSTO member states, as well as issues of improving the crisis response system.
During the meeting, it is planned to consider documents related to the joint training of management bodies and formations of forces and means of the CSTO collective security system, military-technical cooperation and others.
