Iran’s Foreign Ministry is ready to expand private sector cooperation with Russia

Expressing satisfaction with the increase in trade turnover between Iran and Russia, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan stressed the need to expand the participation of the private sector in economic cooperation with Moscow.

At a meeting with members of the parliamentary friendship group of the Duma, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed the readiness of the Foreign Ministry to develop the participation of the private sector in economic cooperation between the two countries.
Pointing to the role of parliaments in promoting relations between the two countries, Amir Abdollahiyan called an important mechanism The Supreme Council of Parliamentary Cooperation for the expansion of friendly relations between Iran and Russia.
The coordinator of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of Russia, Vladimir Vasiliev, also highly appreciated the role of parliamentary cooperation in strengthening bilateral relations at this meeting.
