The Days of the Alexandrinsky Theater will be held in the Republika Srpska

On January 9, the Days of the Alexandrinsky Theater open in the capital of the Republika Srpska, Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the cultural event is timed to coincide with the national holiday – the Day of the Republika Srpska.

On January 9, the play “Hunting to Live!” will be shown on the stage of the National Theater of the Republika Srpska People ‘s Artist of Russia Sergei Parshin.

On the same day, the National Theater of the Republika Srpska will host the opening of the exhibition “Selected Images of the Russian Stage” (“Approve likovi Ruske Stage”), which presents digital copies of sketches of curtains and decoration of legendary performances of the National Drama Theater of Russia (Alexandrinsky Theater) of the XIX-XX centuries, from the collection of the St. Petersburg State Museum of Theater and Music art.

“The days of the Alexandrinsky Theater in the Republika Srpska open the cycle of our foreign touring projects in 2023. On the creative map we have marked Armenia, Serbia and the large–scale Days of the Alexandrinsky Theater in Moscow from April 2 to 8 on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov, in Petrozavodsk in April. At the end of May, on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, we will hold special screenings of the main premiere of the season – Valery Fokin’s play “One Eight Eight One”, in June we will organize tours and educational events in Buryatia,” said the director of the Alexandrinsky Theater Sergey Emelyanov.
